Are There Additional forms
Yes, once you register you will receive additional forms and information from our office including medical forms, up to date vaccinations, a get to know you form and a packing list.
Do You Offer Scholarships for Camp?
Yes, if you are in need of assistance paying for camp please apply for our scholarships. We really want your camper to have a wonderful experience at camp and would love to work with you to make that happen. Just fill out this form. Funds vary but we will do our best to work with you on your needs.

What Can I Expect at Registration
Can My Camper bring a phone/tablet or other tech?
No, they won’t need it. Camp is all about having fun outdoors. Rain or shine there will be so much to do your camper will discover all the different ways to have fun without the tech. Besides there won’t be wifi anyway except for our office. You will be able to contact us and your camper
Does my family need to be Christians or a specific denomination to attend?
Absolutely not. All are welcome at camp. As our mission statement says we want to INTRODUCE people to Jesus. We will sings songs about God, we will tell stories, and we will pray but most importantly we will demonstrate everyday what it means to love our neighbor with kindness and respect. We hope this introduction will get campers started on a lifelong spiritual journey but wherever their spiritual life takes them they will always be a welcome part of our community just the way they are.
Camp Rental Questions
Can a church or religious group rent out the camp and run our own program?
Yes. If your group would like to run your own week-long or weekend long program there is limited availability for that. You can request staff support (fees associated). You will need your own camp medical support. Contact our CEO to discuss details.
Can I rent out a camp for my wedding?
Absolutely. Camp makes for a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. Both of our camps have chapels and outdoor and indoor spaces you can use. We have hosted many weddings over the years. Since we are a children’s camp operating in New York State alcohol is prohibited even when no camp is in session. See our Pathfinder Lodge and Camp Vick Rental information.
Can I rent out a camp for a retreat, conference, team-building weekend, or reunion?
Absolutely. Our camps are the best place for community building and fun. We have both day use and overnight use accommodations. Staff support is available on request (fees associated). Can youth teams, clubs, or scouts use one of the camps for an overnight or day time activity?
Absolutely. We would love to host you for activities. We have both day use and overnight use accommodations. Limited staff support is available on request (fees associated). You will need to provide your own adult leadership and programing. See our Pathfinder Lodge and Camp Vick Rental information.
Does Pathfinder Lodge offer lodging for Hall of Fame Weekend in Cooperstown?
Yes! At a real bargain too. We are are located just down the road from downtown Cooperstown. Stay in a cabin or enjoy some summertime tent camping. Space is limited so book today. Learn more here
Does Camp Vick offer summer long family camping?
Yes! Camp Vick offers a family campground with over 30 lots for RV or tent camping. Camping is available from Memorial Day through October 1st. Learn More here
How Can I Support Camping Ministry
What Job Opportunities does camping ministry offer?
We are so glad you asked. We offer a number of positions every summer and we will train you. Camping work is a wonderful way to get real leadership experience. Whether a lifeguard, counselor, kitchen staff, program, maintenance or more. You will learn skills, build a life-long community and grow personally and professionally. What Training Opportunities does camping ministry offer?
On top of our staff and volunteer training, we also offer a Lifeguard Training for anyone to take. and LIT Training (Leaders in Training) for teens to learn general leadership skills they can apply at camp or anywhere life takes them.
Can I volunteer with VPCCMinistries?
Yes! We love volunteers. Volunteers help make our program run and are a valued part of our team. You can volunteer for a summer, a week, a weekend or just a day. We also offer Work Weekends in the off season to get important work done at camp.
